Interplay Youth Jazz Ensemble is open to ages 14-19 and focuses on jazz language and ensemble playing. The group will rehearse in the Spring and perform in May. Participation in the IYJE automatically qualifies you for a scholarship to the Interplay Summer Camp (held June 21-27).
Tuition: $300.
Who
The IYJE is led by NYC guitarist and Interplay faculty member Alex Wintz. He will be assisted by several Interplay faculty members, including Michael Zsoldos, Fred Haas, and Justin Varnes.
where
The upcoming session for the Interplay Youth Jazz Ensemble will begin in late April 2026. Rehearsals to take place within an early‑evening two‑hour block, with exact times and place communicated with registrants.
